Softball Recap: Slinger Starts Season with Win on the Road

Slinger had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Kewaskum Indians on Friday as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kewaskum moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Slinger will venture away from home to challenge Port Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kewaskum, they will head out to square off against Plymouth at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
