Forestview came out on top against North Gaston  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run first inning. The Jaguars took their   match against the Wildcats   10-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  4-1  back in March.

 Olivia Hensley made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   ten  hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Lily Cabe was  incredible,  going 2-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.  Kaitlyn Baker was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Forestview  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They are 4-2 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Forestview's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for North Gaston, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 7-13.
 Looking ahead, Forestview will head out to  take on Highland Tech  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last five contests. As for North Gaston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kings Mountain  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Mountaineers' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8  runs per game  this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
