Basketball Recap: Mcnairy Central's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

McNairy Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 53-34 win over the Sycamore War Eagles. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the War Eagles are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McNairy Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Sycamore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-15.

As of now, neither McNairy Central nor Sycamore have any future games scheduled.
