Edgewood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Germain, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Alaina Preble was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Viera's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Edgewood, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Viera have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Edgewood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.2 per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
