Football Recap: Plateau Valley Skates Past Lake County with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plateau Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Lake County Panthers 50-14. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cowboys with their most commanding win of the season.

Colter Ralston threw for 222 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt. Hunter White was his top target, picking up 95 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Vance Sheffield rushed for 72 yards and one score on only six carries.

Plateau Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lake County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Plateau Valley and Lake County will both be playing Rangely the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cowboys will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
