With a playoff game on the line, the Jasper Bulldogs rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against Columbia as Jasper made off with a 35-12 victory. Jasper might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Zykeelan Hadnot went supernova for Jasper, rushing for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Hadnot was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'keman Harris, who rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown.
Jasper is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Columbia, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Jasper will be playing at home against Connally at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Connally is ranked 199th, while Jasper is ranked 178th). Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
