This season hasn't been kind to the Summit Charter Bears, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a serious blow against Rosman on Thursday, falling 80-44.
It was another big night for Marley McCall, who scored 26 points for Rosman. That makes it four consecutive games in which McCall has scored at least 25% of Rosman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaesyn Mccoy, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Summit Charter bumped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rosman, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Summit Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Invest Collegiate Imagine at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Rosman, they will head out on the road to face off against Blue Ridge Early College at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Blue Ridge Early College is ranked 658th, while Rosman is ranked 647th).
