Grace Chaisson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 17 over eight innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
