If Carroll County was riding high  off their  16-5 takedown of Henry County last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Carroll County Panthers fell just short of the Henry County Wildcats by a score of  10-8 on Thursday. Carroll County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Henry County apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played.
  Coy Willhoite was cooking despite his team's loss,   getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run. He is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bryce Furnish, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Henry County's side,  Baylor Nolin was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   nine  hits. Nolin was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Colton Rabourn was  excellent,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Logan Perdue was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Carroll County's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Henry County, their record is now 6-14.
 Carroll County will be playing in front of their home fans against Scott at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Henry County, they will head out on the road to  take on  Frankfort at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Frankfort will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Henry County surely won't give up without a fight.
