The Stockbridge Tigers entered their tilt with the McDonough Warhawks with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Stockbridge blew past McDonough, posting a 63-21 win at home. The result was nothing new for Stockbridge, who have now won eight contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stockbridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden "duke" Scott, who rushed for 152 yards on only five carries. Scott is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Mack, who rushed for 152 yards on only 12 carries.
Stockbridge's win was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.7 points per game. As for McDonough, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Stockbridge has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome North Hall at 6:30 p.m. on November 11th. McDonough does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
