Modesto is 0-10 against Enochs since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Modesto turned things around against Johansen on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 19-2 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Brianna Rueda made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Rueda was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Modesto kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 5-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Enochs made easy work of Orestimba on Friday and carried off a 9-1 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Enochs also got a great performance from Soraya Mendoza as she tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Mendoza has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Enochs let Joella Amezcua and Makayla Alailima run wild. Amezcua went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles, while Alailima went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Camila Ramirez Quintana, who went 3-for-4 with two runs.
Enochs' victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Modesto, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Modesto hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. However, it's not like Enochs struggles in that department as they've averaged .412. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Modesto suffered a grim 21-5 defeat to Enochs in their previous meeting on April 3rd. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
