Somerset Academy Losee snuck past Sunrise Mountain with a 36-32 victory on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Somerset Academy Losee.
Akaylah Thrower was her usual excellent self, scoring 14 points. Another player making a difference was Key Thrower, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Somerset Academy Losee's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Sunrise Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Somerset Academy Losee won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sunrise Mountain at 4:10 p.m. on December 22nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Sunrise Mountain is ranked 25th, while Somerset Academy Losee is ranked 30th).
