San Luis put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They beat Cibola by a goal, winning 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as San Luis also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
San Luis' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 3.6 goals per game. As for Cibola, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
San Luis will head out on the road to take on Gila Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gila Ridge has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5. As for Cibola, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Luis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
