Avon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nyisah Miranda, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Miranda also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Medeiros, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Avon's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Diman RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
Avon won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Diman RVT, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Blue Hills RVT presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bengals in Massachusetts (the Warriors are ranked 53rd, while the Bengals are ranked 258th).
