Valle Catholic has gone 9-1 against Bismarck recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warriors will head out to challenge the Indians at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Valle Catholic has three straight wins, Bismarck has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Valle Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Arcadia Valley with a sharp 22-4 victory on Monday. Considering the Warriors have won five games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Reece Weiler made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Weiler was even better at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Weiler is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Valle Catholic got a massive performance out of Jayci Palmer, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that Palmer has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Hayden Vaeth, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Valle Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Bismarck came up short against Potosi on Tuesday, falling 25-7.
Valle Catholic's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-2. As for Bismarck, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Bismarck's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Valle Catholic hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .417. It's a different story for Bismarck, though, as they've only averaged .235. Will they be able to contain Valle Catholic's hitters?
Everything went Valle Catholic's way against Bismarck in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Valle Catholic made off with a 17-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
