The Davis Darts will challenge the Weber Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Davis is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Farmington with a sharp 20-5 victory on Friday. Considering the Darts have won 14 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Serena Roth made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Roth was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Davis got a massive performance out of Riley Jaques, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs Jaques has posted since back in May of 2025. Cambell Christensen was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Davis hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Weber lost 12-4 to Sky View on Saturday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Weber saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegan Blaisdell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Davis' win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Weber, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
Weber's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Davis has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Weber, though, as they've been averaging 12.1 hits. Given Davis' sizable advantage in that area, the Warriors will need to find a way to close that gap.
Davis got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Weber by a conclusive 18-2 score. Do the Darts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
