The Walkertown Wolfpack will be staying on the road  on Wednesday to face off against the Starmount Rams at 6:30  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  both teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Walkertown gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They blew past Greater Vision Academy 16-1.
 Walkertown let  Dakota Larimore and  Clifton Olmedo loose on the outfield. Larimore  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple, while  Olmedo  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Aaron Hester was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Starmount scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  17-6 margin over Elkin. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded Starmount with their most commanding win of the season.
 Walkertown's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 8-5. As for Starmount,  the  win  got them back to even at 6-6.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Wednesday as both teams have some strikeout artists on the roster. Walkertown has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.4  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Starmount struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.5. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Walkertown took their  victory against Starmount  when the teams last played  back in March of 2022 by a conclusive  12-1. Will Walkertown repeat their success,  or does  Starmount have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
