Lee Central can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Andrews by a score of 37-29.
Lee Central found their leader in underclassman Kiauj Allen, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Demarius Gregg was another key contributor, scoring three points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Kingstree pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Mullins by a score of 60-57. Kingstree just can't catch a break and has now endured four losses in a row.
Lee Central now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Kingstree, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.
Lee Central came up short against Kingstree in their previous meeting back in January, falling 47-37. Can Lee Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
