The Reeds Spring Wolves are taking a road trip to  square off against the Forsyth Panthers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Reeds Spring has given up an average of 10.1  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Reeds Spring is headed into Tuesday's   match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game  on Thursday. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of Galena.
  Chloe Clevenger was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That  stolen base was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Kinzey Skidmore, who  got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with two  runs and one  double.
Meanwhile,  after only two  runs in their last  game, Forsyth made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Blue Eye  on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp  16-1 victory. The  win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Lauren Turner made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Turner was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Zoe White was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  doubles, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  doubles gave  her a new career-high.  Georgia Barnett was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Forsyth was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .600. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
 Forsyth's record now sits at 9-14. As for Reeds Spring, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
Tuesday's   contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Reeds Spring hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .326. However, it's not like Forsyth struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .346. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Reeds Spring couldn't quite get it done against Forsyth in their previous meeting  last Saturday as they fell  11-6. Can the Wolves avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
