Purchase Line suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 61-26 loss at the hands of Penns Manor. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Purchase Line has suffered against Penns Manor since January 25, 2022.
River Valley is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Purchase Line, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
River Valley took their victory against Purchase Line when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 63-37. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Purchase Line's Jakob Mountain, who scored 14 points.
