Heartland won the last time they faced Overland Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Heartland Mustangs blew past the Overland Christian Eagle 55-24. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 31 points or more this season.

Heartland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micah Stone, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine steals. Stone has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Solomon Bollinger was another key player, putting up 15 points and five steals.

Heartland pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points per game. As for Overland Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
