It was another big night for Joseph Bjegovich, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tyson Robertson, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Banning Lewis Academy pushed their record up to 14-3 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Salida, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banning Lewis Academy will take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colorado Springs Christian is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Salida, they will head out on the road to square off against the Thunder at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
