Meanwhile, East Prairie scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 26-3 margin over Scott County Central. East Prairie might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matches by 14 runs or more this season.
Riley Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). Wilson was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Chloe Jackson was incredible, going 3-for-5 with a home run, four runs, and five RBI. Another player making a difference was Harper Marshall, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, a triple, and an RBI.
