The Whitehouse Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Hallsville Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Whitehouse 3.4, Hallsville 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Whitehouse's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Nacogdoches as they made off with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 14 games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Taylor Morris was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Morris was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Kaylee Burgess looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Kyndal Morris and Analee Becerra did most of the damage at the plate: Morris went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Becerra went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Makiah Mburugu, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Whitehouse was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nacogdoches only posted a batting average of .062.
Meanwhile, Hallsville waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-0. The Bobcats' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matchups.
Not much got past Lindsey Dubberly, who gave up just five hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Lufkin off the board.
At the plate, Hope Miles was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ella Baird, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Hallsville pushed their record up to 26-3-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Whitehouse, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Whitehouse hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .366. However, it's not like Hallsville struggles in that department as they've averaged .387. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
