Union Local picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They came out on top against Fairless by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jets.
Union Local was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-13, 25-20.

Union Local relied on the efforts of Delaney Butler, who hit 83.3% for five kills and 45 assists and 17 digs, and Brooklyn Burley, who had three aces. Butler has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 44 times she's played.
Martins Ferry typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Tuscarawas Valley proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Purple Riders.
Tuscarawas Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 26-24, 25-19, 26-24.
Tuscarawas Valley's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Union Local, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.
Union Local came out on top in a nail-biter against Tuscarawas Valley in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Trojans' Aubrie Barr, who had 29 digs.
