Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Dallas Christian Chargers walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 28-13 victory over the Knights on Saturday. Dallas Christian is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 12 straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dallas Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaden Davis, who rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Davis was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. William Nettles did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 172 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Dallas Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Holy Cross, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
Dallas Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Holy Cross also has no future games currently scheduled.
