Christian Fellowship stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 43-23 margin over Lighthouse Prep Academy. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Christian Fellowship just coasted through the last quarter.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christian Fellowship to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ariya Barton, who scored five points along with 13 steals and five assists. Barton hasn't dropped below five steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Babich, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Lighthouse Prep Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Madeline Hutchison. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points. That was a full 47.8% of Lighthouse Prep Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Christian Fellowship is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-8.
