The Surrattsville Hornets pushed their score all the way to 63 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Douglass at home by a decisive 80-63 margin. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Ke Milton, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Surrattsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Douglass, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
