Softball Recap: University School of Jackson Wins Going Away Against Trinity Christian Academy

University School of Jackson won the last time they faced Trinity Christian Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Bruins put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 8-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Laura Kate Prater was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Lauren Raines, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

University School of Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Looking ahead, University School of Jackson will head out on the road to face off against Chester County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian Academy has already played their next matchup (against Middleton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
