On Saturday, Union Grove Christian got the win against Bethel Christian Academy by a conclusive 46-23. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Union Grove Christian has managed all season.
Sara Long was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Klaira Cromer , who scored eight points along with six assists.
Union Grove Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Tabernacle Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Union Grove Christian in North Carolina (Tabernacle Christian is ranked 169th, while Union Grove Christian is ranked 430th). Bethel Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Living Water Christian at 6:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
