Muncie Burris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 72-56 to the Randolph Southern Rebels. One positive for the Owls, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Randolph Southern got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Donavon Shinaver out in front who went 5 for 11 on his way to 23 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Allen, who posted 17 points.

Muncie Burris' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Randolph Southern, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Muncie Burris wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 81-43 defeat against Lapel on the 14th. As for Randolph Southern, they will welcome Cambridge City Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
