Wasatch extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Mahala Speredon. The Wasps were the clear victors by a 73-53 margin over the Cedar Reds on Thursday thanks in part to Speredon, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds. She has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: she's posted one of at least 52% every time she's hit the court this season.

Another player making a difference was Brynnlea Scheuller, who posted six points and five steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game.

When it comes to explaining why Cedar lost, don't look at Brooke Vargas. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points. Erica Bromley also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Wasatch's record now sits at 5-0. As for Cedar, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
