The Hamtramck Cosmos will venture away from home to take on Summit Academy North at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamtramck knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Summit Academy North likes a good challenge.
Hamtramck came out on top against Oak Park on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive 13-run second inning. The Cosmos put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 17-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cosmos, who have now won three contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win got Hamtramck back to even at 3-3. As for Summit Academy North, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Hamtramck has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .538. However, it's not like Summit Academy North struggles in that department as they've averaged .553. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Hamtramck got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Summit Academy North by a conclusive 13-6 score. Will the Cosmos repeat their success, or do Summit Academy North have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
