  Kaj Pitman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.
Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Freedom,  the  win snapped their losing streak at seven games  and leaves them with a 7-11 record.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mitchell will host Madison  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Freedom, they will welcome Alexander Central  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
