The Atlantic Eagles can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They managed a 77-72 victory over Trinity Christian Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Kevin Ulysee, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alix Dieudonne, who scored 12 points.
Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Xander Eason, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten assists. Eason hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. Another player making a difference was Paul Morency, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Trinity Christian Academy were working as a unit and finished the game with 28 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Atlantic only posted 11 assists.
Atlantic's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlantic will take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Olympic Heights is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.3 points per game this season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against the Owls at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. FAU High is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
