It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Pen Argyl Green Knights had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 26-6 margin over Mahanoy Area. The result was nothing new for Pen Argyl, who have now won four matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Pen Argyl had a senior duo take command as Brad Rissmiller threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns and Damian Tyminski rushed for 26 yards and two touchdowns.
Pen Argyl now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Mahanoy Area, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Pen Argyl does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mahanoy Area also has no future games currently scheduled.
