Addison Krutz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, De Pere got a massive performance out of Cadence Brennan, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Brennan a new career-high. Julianne Bradford was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
De Pere kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive games.
De Pere has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Green Bay Southwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
