Volleyball Recap: Community Academy of Philadelphia Wins Going Away Against Pine Forge Academy

After losing to Pine Forge Academy the last time they met, Community Academy of Philadelphia decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons on Thursday.

While Community Academy of Philadelphia won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-22.

The victory got Community Academy of Philadelphia back to even at 1-1. As for Pine Forge Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Community Academy of Philadelphia is set to face off against their familiar foe Girard College at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pine Forge Academy will square off against rival Foundation Collegiate Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
