After five games on the road, Logan/Palco is heading back home. They will take on the Plainville Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Logan/Palco focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
Logan/Palco scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They strolled past Weskan with points to spare, taking the game 64-48.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Logan/Palco to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ansley Delimont, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Wells, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Plainville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 49-24 walloping at the hands of Hill City. Plainville has not had much luck with Hill City recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Logan/Palco has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Plainville, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14.
Logan/Palco won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in January of 2023, slipping by Plainville 36-35. Will Logan/Palco repeat their success, or does Plainville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
