The Towson Generals and the Perry Hall Gators squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Towson Generals had to settle for second. Towson was dealt a 55-0 loss at the hands of Perry Hall. While losing is never fun, Towson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland football rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while Perry Hall is ranked 24th).
Perry Hall was led to victory by Da'Shaun Conway and Jacob Wagner. Conway threw for 150 yards and a touchdown on only six passes, while Wagner gained 155 total yards. Wagner was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 65 yards.
Towson now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Perry Hall, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Towson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Perry Hall will take on Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at TBD on Friday. Mergenthaler Vo-Tech is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
