Anderson County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noah Porter, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Steele, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Anderson County struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Girard's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Anderson County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
