If The Clearview Pioneers were feeling good off their 28-0 takedown of the Hightstown Rams last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Clearview suffered a tough 34-14 defeat at the hands of Brick Township on Thursday.
Despite the loss, Clearview still got an impressive performance from Obrian Brown, who rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Brown is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played.

The team's defense also helped out by holding Clearview to a paltry 165 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Brick Township's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out six times before it was all said and done. The heavy lifting was done by Trempy and Ezra Meyers who racked up five sacks between them.
