Cathedral City extended the longest winning streak in Desert Valley this week by beating Desert Mirage, 69-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Coachella Valley moved up to 475 from 527 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Arabs climbed the ranks as a result of beating Calexico 21-7.
5-foot-10 quarterback Kyle Kabeary of Palm Desert is the league leader in passing yards this season with 714. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Vincent Guzman. The La Quinta star has 8 catches for 234 yards.
Palm Springs and Redlands played the most contested game in the league this week, with Palm Springs eventually emerging with a 20-16 victory.
