Susquenita has gone a perfect 4-0 against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Blackhawks will host the WolfPack at 4:30 p.m. Susquenita is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
Susquenita barely beat Greenwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blackhawks blew past the Wildcats 16-5 on Wednesday. The Blackhawks haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Chanse Fisher and Jon Erdossy made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Fisher pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Erdossy pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Fisher has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Susquenita has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 12 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
