You can't lose the match if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Bethune's strategy against Weskan on Tuesday. Everything went Bethune's way against Weskan as Bethune made off with a 43-22 victory.
Bethune's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samantha Robinson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Madilyn Powell, who scored 13 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Flagler's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Stratton on the road by a decisive 52-36 margin. Flagler has struggled against Stratton recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Bethune's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Flagler, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
