Bethune's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Samantha Robinson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Madilyn Powell, who scored 13 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Flagler's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Stratton on the road by a decisive 52-36 margin. Flagler has struggled against Stratton recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Bethune's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Flagler, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
