The Bethel-Tate Tigers won against the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals last Friday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Bethel-Tate took down the Cardinals 61-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bethel-Tate.
Felicity-Franklin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landen Forbes, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Blackburn, who scored eight points.
Bethel-Tate's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Felicity-Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Bethel-Tate will square off against the Rockets at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Clermont Northeastern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday. As for Felicity-Franklin, they will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williamsburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully the Cardinals like a good challenge.
