This Thursday at 10:30 AM, Turners Falls (6-4) faces Greenfield (6-3). Each team will be battling to keep its win streak alive, with Turners Falls having won four in a row and Greenfield three.
Turners Falls had just enough last game, edging out Pioneer Valley Regional 18 - 16. Sophomore Jaden Whiting didn't have many carries in the previous game, but he had more touches this time and made them count as he ran for 103 yards and punched in one touchdown. Meanwhile, Greenfield came out on top against Mohawk Trail Regional two weeks ago with a 22 - 8 win.
The last time they met, Turners Falls really took it to Greenfield, winning 36 - 0. This time, their match is expected to be much closer since they have similar MaxPreps state rankings (Turners Falls at 258th, Greenfield at 259th). Will Turners Falls come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
