Salado came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to the Slocum Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up an 81-44 victory. With the Eagles ahead 47-21 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Salado pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Slocum, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Salado wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 35-32 victory against Valley View on the 14th. Slocum has also already played their next matchup, a 58-52 win against Italy on the 14th.
