The Stewart County Royal Knights 's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 72-52 loss at the hands of Seminole County. Stewart County has not had much luck with Seminole County recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Seminole County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Equeasha Daniels led the charge by scoring 17 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Daniels has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Taneria Williams, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Stewart County's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Seminole County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
Stewart County will head out on the road to take on Mitchell County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mitchell County has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 8. As for Seminole County, they will be playing at home against Randolph-Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
