Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Youngker to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashlee Gonzalez, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. Ytzel McClendon was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 16 rebounds and two steals.

Youngker will head out on the road to square off against Notre Dame Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Notre Dame Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Youngker likes a good challenge. As for Kofa, Kofa and Copper Canyon will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Copper Canyon is ranked 205th, while Kofa is ranked 195th).
